Medical Bill Review and Repricing — Our internal medical bill review and preauthorization services for workers’ compensation claims drives cost containment for our clients. Claims handling and cost containment services work together, resulting in increased efficiency and better quality of services. Physician and hospital contract information is integrated into our software system to allow for quick and accurate review of submitted bills.

Utilization Management - Our in-house utilization management team of nurses assesses each case, implementing cost containment measures, determining effectiveness of medical treatment and appropriateness of medical care/utilization of service.

Field Case Management - Our team of case managers is handpicked using stringent and thorough, hiring credentials. These certified case managers, are registered nurses, with at least 10 years’ experience who work closely with the claims adjuster, injured worker, health care provider(s), employer, and other parties to achieve a successful outcome and shorten the duration of the claim.

Specialized Assistance — Highly qualified providers in areas such as peer review, hospital bill review, legal representation, and private investigation give the employer assurance that special needs will be handled professionally and promptly.

Representation — Senior adjusters participate in benefit review conferences and other dispute resolution proceedings with the Division of Workers' Compensation to ensure that a client's best interest is presented and defended.

Litigation Management — Our litigation specialists monitor potential threats from occurrence through any adjudicative proceeding and resolution. Thorough review of actions on high-risk claims allows our team to identify early possible concerns and manage the process to ensure a favorable outcome.

Excess Insurance Placement — JI’s brokerage team has established relationships with domestic and international reinsurers and excess insurance carriers. Placement of specific and aggregate excess coverage assures the financial integrity of the self-insurance program.
