JI Companies Adds Tarrant County Account
Austin, TX - JI Companies was selected to provide workers’ compensation claims administration and medical utilization management services for Tarrant County. With this addition, JI now provides services to 233 of the 254 counties across Texas.
With an employee workforce totaling over 4,000, and a population of approximately 1.7 million citizens, Tarrant County is the second most populous county in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and one of the fastest growing urban counties in the country. The County’s economic stability is anchored in their wide-ranging spectrum of businesses, from agriculture to aerospace.
Implementation began October 1, 2007 and the county is now utilizing JI’s online claims submission system. “JI provides us with a complete program,” said Paul Wood, Risk Manager, Tarrant County. “We are also very pleased with all of the JI online capabilities. Our in-house workers’ compensation staff can view all of the claims data online, in real-time with secure access to JI. The JI Risk Online reporting modules allow us to run all our reports on demand. We anticipate their system will improve our ability to manage our injured workers’ cases.”
“We are looking forward to providing Tarrant County with an effective workers’ compensation program that reduces losses and helps save money. The County is a perfect match for JI with their positive and proactive approach to risk management,” commented Francis Fey, JI’s CEO and President.
