Upper Colorado River Authority joins the Texas Water Conservation Association Risk Management Fund
The Texas Water Conservation Association Risk Management Fund (www.tcrmf.org), a self-insurance pool formed by water districts and authorities is welcoming a new member, the Upper Colorado River Authority. The Fund provides workers' compensation, liability, and property coverage as well as group health and employee benefits programs for over 100 member districts and authorities throughout Texas. Upper Colorado River Authority protects the watersheds of Tom Green, Coke and other contiguous counties and participates in such programs as Clean Rivers, EPA Non-Point Source/Urban Runoff Abatement, Brush Control, as well as extensive public education and outreach efforts.
“We are excited about this new addition to the Fund. As the current administrator for Upper Colorado River Authority’s property, liability, and workers’ compensation programs, it was a natural choice for them to select Fund services,” said Greg Womack, Vice President and Program Executive of JI Specialty Services, Inc., The Fund’s Administrator. Leroy Goodson, General Manager of the Texas Water Conservation Association agreed, “In this day and age of escalating health care costs, the Fund’s self-funded programs provide clients with comprehensive services, while keeping a constant focus on cost containment efforts. The Fund knows you, cares for you and is concerned for your employees, offering personalized services to protect your interests.”
