JI Companies Principal to Participate in Expert Panel at Self-Insurance Conference

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Sam Francis, Principal, Executive Vice President, and General Counsel for JI Companies, will serve on a panel of industry experts at the TPA & MGU/Excess Insurer Executive Forum sponsored by the Self-Insurance Institute of America (SIIA). The pre-conference workshop titled The Health Data “Pre-Nuptial” takes place April 19th in Charleston, South Carolina. The panel will discuss the concept of developing a standardized “pre-nuptial” agreement for employers to use with fully insured carriers to ensure employers have access to their own health data information.

Sam has over 20 years’ risk management experience. His expertise lies in federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations applicable to and governing insurance, self-insurance, and pooling arrangements for both workers’ compensation and employee benefits.
